Welcome! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! My name is Tsahai (pronounced Sahi; Yes, the "T" is silent) Green. I married the love of my life on April 12, 2009 and we live a pretty busy, yet happy life. I work full-time in Human Resources and much of my free time is consumed by my church activities and responsibilities. My husband also works full time, is in school and is a leader in my church as well. Let's just say there's never a dull moment for the Greens!
When we got married, many people expressed their excitement as they encouraged us to have children and others advised us to enjoy each other first and then have children. I must admit that we have both had baby fever from the very beginning of our marriage, but we also agreed that it was best to wait at least a year. Just to give you a bit of background - I am in a liturgical dance group who will celebrate their 10th anniversary in concert on June 19th. I really wanted to be able to participate in our 10th anniversary celebration, so hubby and I decided that we wouldn't plan to have children until after the concert.
Well the concert is right around the corner, so that means our plans to have children are not too far behind! ;) We don't know how long it will take us to conceive, but we are trusting God all the way! Proverbs 3: 5 says - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding & Jeremiah 29: 11 says - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. My mother always tells me that "Nothing happens before its time". So with my trust in God and my mother's wise words, I have confidence that this will be a wonderful journey!
I'd like to use this blog to journal my feelings, thoughts, findings and research as we await our green bean! Hope you enjoy! ;)
